A good health is one of the most important rewarding things about life. After all the holiday eating, we all have the will to start the new year in a lean way. Here is a quick recipe to try. Remember, all these ingredients listed are beneficial to your skin, even if consumed internally.
What you’ll need:
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tsp turmeric (check out this article for more)
- 1 tea spoon true vanilla extract
- 1 cup almonds
- 2 cups frozen bananas
- 2 cups dates ( you can substitute this but dates have infinite benefits)
- 2 cups almond milk (or hemp milk).
- 3 cups pure filtered water
- A pinch of chilli powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp activated charcoal (optional but an amazing detox ingredient –see this article)
- Combine almond milk and dry almonds in a blender
- Add frozen bananas and other ingredients
- Add water and activated charcoal
- Run the blender until you are happy with the consistency
- Chill the concoction
- Sip it until all your problems go away
- You can save some of the smoothie for later but not longer than 3 days
